Omega 7 or palmitoleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that has beneficial properties on the skin and mucous membranes. We find this fatty acid in the oil of sea buckthorn berries (Hippophae rhamnoides). It is a top quality oil, reddish in color with a high content of Omega 7 and monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. This plant is native to Europe, Asia Minor and the Caucasus.
