Vitamin D3 + K2 - 30ml. Liquid
Vitamin D is actually a hormone that is linked to numerous processes in our body. This vitamin is capable of activating 2,000 different genes in our body.
Although the body produces it when the skin is exposed to the sun, many people do not receive enough exposure, especially in winter, and have a deficiency of this vitamin. This is not a specific or local problem but a global one. In most countries in the world there is a deficiency of this vitamin. I have personally verified that out of every ten people I tell to check their vitamin D levels, nine are below what is recommended.
One of the world's leading experts on vitamin D is Dr. Michael F. Holick, who has dedicated forty years of his life to its study. These are some statements that we can find in his book The Vitamin D Solution or in one of his conferences:
- Every cell in the body has a receptor for vitamin D.
- In winter we do not synthesize enough vitamin D from the sun.
- 80% of children born have vitamin D deficiency.
- We can't get enough vitamin D from food.
- The incidence of flu is not due to the cold as some have assumed, but rather due to low levels of vitamin D during the winter.
- Vitamin D increases insulin production.
- The ability to produce vitamin D decreases with age.
- Vitamin D testing is the most requested parameter in a blood test in the US.
According to this scientist, these are some benefits that could be obtained if vitamin D levels were increased to 125 nmol/L (50 ng/mL) in the population:
- Rickets, would be reduced by 100%
- Osteomalacia, 100%
- All types of cancer, 75%
- Breast cancer, 50%
- Ovarian cancer, 25%
- Colon cancer, 67%
- Kidney cancer, 67%
- Endometrial cancer, 35%
- Type 1 diabetes, 80%
- Type 2 diabetes, 50%
- Fractures, 50%
- Multiple Sclerosis, 50%
- Heart attacks in men, 50%
- Peripheral Vascular Disease, 80%

There is much scientific evidence showing that vitamin D deficiency plays a very important role in the development of cancer. The risk of cancer can be drastically reduced simply by improving vitamin D levels through moderate sun exposure or with a nutritional intake of vitamin D3.
Vitamin D protects us against cancer in various ways:
- Regulates genetic expression.
- It increases the self-destruction of mutated cells (when these cells replicate they can promote cancer).
- Reduces the spread and reproduction of cancer cells.
- It allows cancer cells to differentiate (these cells do not usually differentiate).
- Reduces the growth of new blood vessels from existing ones. This is a step in the transition from dormant tumors to cancerous.
Twenty-five years ago, Dr. John Ott investigated why a group of children in a school in Illinois, USA, had an incidence of leukemia five times higher than normal. He found that all the students who had developed leukemia belonged to two classes. He discovered that in these two classes the teachers always kept the curtains closed to prevent the students from being distracted and from being bothered by the sun's rays. In those classes they always had the artificial light on. Today we know that vitamin D protects us against cancer. However, oncologists do not recommend sunbathing. It is true that excess solar radiation can cause skin cancer, but sunlight in adequate amounts can prevent all types of cancer.
It is important to highlight that various scientific studies have shown that vegans have the greatest vitamin D deficiencies. This is why we should worry about checking our vitamin D levels, worry about receiving direct sunlight and providing vitamin D.
How to provide Vitamin D?
\nSome of the foods with the highest amount of vitamin D are: salmon, tuna, eggs, phytoplankton, and maitake mushroom. There are many others that also provide it but not because they contain it in themselves, but because it has been added to them, as is the case with cow's milk. However, food never provides the necessary amount we need.
It is necessary that we expose ourselves to the sun daily , and also supplement with D2 or D3: 4,000-6,000 IU daily, except in summer. The supplement can be taken with or without food. It absorbs just as well.
Vitamin K2
Vitamin K2 is a vitamin that is produced in our intestine. This vitamin:
- Helps the body to have proper blood clotting
- Contributes to the maintenance of bone health
- Improves the functioning of the nervous system
- Regulates calcium in blood vessels and arteries
DOSAGE:
Between 5-10 drops with breakfast, which is equivalent to 2,000-4,000 IU. depending on the level of each person.
