The Importance of Silicon in the Body
Silicon plays an important role in many bodily functions and has a direct relationship with mineral absorption. The average human body contains approximately 7 grams of silicon; we need significantly more silicon than even important minerals like iron. Most people are in fact silicon deficient.
Because silicon is important in human nutrition, it is a necessary nutrient for health because it helps:

Mode of Use
ADULTS: mix 1 tablespoon in your water, juice, green juice in the morning, or dilute in coffee, as it has no flavor. This makes it very easy to include it in your daily routine. When used for hypercholesterolemia the dose is 250 mg 3 times a day. A good idea would be to take 1 to 2 tablespoons with water once a day. If no side effects appear, you can take up to 3 tablespoons a day.
CHILDREN: 1 teaspoon daily
