Normo LX is composed of:
Senna (Cassia angustifolia): This plant exerts a laxative action due to the anthracene heterosides it contains as active ingredients. Anthracene derivatives act at the level of the large intestine, increasing peristalsis by stimulating smooth muscles. It also has a cholagogue action, which produces a greater flow of liquid to the intestine and also an inhibition of water absorption in the large intestine, both actions that favor the laxative effect. Senna is a traditional plant rich in anthraquinones, which has been used since ancient times as a laxative and to promote emptying of the intestinal tract.
Aloe Vera: It has been widely used to promote intestinal emptying, due to its mucilage content and its ability to capture water. Furthermore, these mucilages line the intestinal mucosa, exerting a softening and protective action. \nIt helps protect the intestinal epithelium from irritations caused by stimulating or corrosive substances.
Fructooligosaccharides: This is a soluble dietary fiber from the chicory root. This fiber has the property of being prebiotic, that is, of promoting the growth of intestinal saprophytic flora and therefore favors the proper functioning of the digestive tract. Like all fibers, it promotes water absorption and the regulation of intestinal transit.
Fennel: Traditionally used to promote digestion and the elimination of intestinal gases. The essential oil promotes the stimulation of the intestinal muscles, helping to combat the intestinal atony that usually accompanies constipation. It has also been popularly used in cases of intestinal spasms.
Boldo: Boldo facilitates the activation of saliva and gastric juices, therefore, it is traditionally used to promote the proper functioning of the digestive system. It has also been used traditionally to facilitate the proper functioning of the liver and gallbladder.
Plum: Traditionally used to improve intestinal transit. It is very rich in malic acid and other organic acids and mucilage. It promotes the softening of feces, by capturing water from the intestinal environment and lubricating the digestive tract.
Composition per tablet:
- 300 mg of senna hohas.
- 200 mg of aloe vera.
- 89 mg of fructooligosaccharides.
- 30 mg of fennel.
- 30 mg of boldo.
- 10 mg of plum.
How to use:
Take 1 to 2 tablets a day, preferably before going to bed or as directed by your professional.
